Interactive AI training
Learn to actually use AI, by playing.
A training game for people who've tried chatbots a few times and know they're barely scratching the surface. Simple, bite-sized lessons that teach you to fly.

The problem
You've read about AI. You still can't operate it.
Most people who "use AI" are typing questions into a box and taking whatever comes back. There's a large gap between that and running the thing properly — and watching another 40-minute explainer video doesn't close it.
Reading about a cockpit is not the same as sitting in one.
How it works
Every lesson runs the same three beats.
See it done
A short explanation plus a live "Watch Me" demo of the technique working. Every idea arrives with a worked example.
Try it yourself
A hands-on exercise you can get wrong. Miss it and you get a different version to retry — not the same question again.
Use it for real
Take the technique into your own AI, on your own work, and report back what happened.
What's inside
32 lessons and exams across five tiers.
Recruit
The fundamentals that work in any assistant: giving context, asking for the right output, and fixing a bad answer instead of starting over.
Cadet
Structured prompting, iteration, and getting reliable work out of a model instead of a lucky first draft.
Operator
Claude's working surface — Projects, Artifacts, and files — and when each one is the right tool.
Specialist
Connectors, skills, and memory. Wiring an assistant into the tools you already use.
Builder → Architect
Claude Code and Cowork: delegating real work to an agent, and designing systems instead of one-off prompts. Ends in a final exam.
Certification electives
Unlocks after the Architect exam. Focused modules that award certification badges instead of ranks.
Every lesson is tagged for portability. Universal, concept, or Claude-specific — shown on the lesson itself. Only 4 of the 32 are genuinely Claude-only, and all 4 sit in Tier 5 and Spec Ops. The rest either works identically in any assistant or teaches an idea ChatGPT and Gemini have under a different name. The lesson tells you which before you start it.
Tiers 1 and 2 — Recruit and Cadet — are free to play right now. Tiers 3 through 5 plus the Spec Ops content are $19.99, founding price through 2026-09-03. After that, $29. I keep it current as Claude changes — updates included, no extra charge, for as long as you own it.
Honest limits
Who this isn't for.
If you already build with LLM APIs, write your own agent tooling, or read model release notes for fun, you'll find the first four tiers slow. Progression is sequential by design — each lesson unlocks only once you finish the one before it, so you'll play through material you may not need before you reach the parts you don't have yet. That's a real limitation for experienced users. I built it this way because earned progression teaches better than skipping around, but if you're looking for a way to jump straight to advanced tooling, this game doesn't offer one right now.
If you want a certificate that means something to an employer, look somewhere else. The badges are game mechanics. What you're buying is the ability to do the work.
And if you want to be handed a stack of copy-paste prompts to keep, you'll be frustrated. The whole design assumes you'd rather know why something works.
Questions
Straight answers.
Do I need an account?
No. No signup, no login, no email required to play. Progress saves in your own browser.
Does this work with ChatGPT and Gemini, or only Claude?
Both — and every lesson tells you which is which. Of the 32 lessons and exams: 10 are tagged "universal" and transfer to any assistant as-is. 18 are tagged "concept" — the same idea exists in ChatGPT or Gemini under a different name, and the lesson says so. 4 are genuinely Claude-only, and all 4 are in Tier 5 and Spec Ops, so nothing in the free tiers is locked to one assistant. Every lesson carries its tag, so you're never surprised.
Do I need a paid AI subscription?
A free AI account is enough for most of the game. The later tiers cover tools that require a paid Claude plan, and those lessons say so upfront before you start them.
How long does it take?
The two free tiers run about an hour. All 32 lessons take most people a handful of sittings. You can stop anywhere and pick up where you left off.
Where does my data go?
Your progress never leaves your device. The game is a single file that saves to your browser's local storage, so your answers and anything you paste into a lesson stay on your machine. There's no account and no player database.
What does leave: the site runs Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and counts pageviews without identifying anyone. The game also reports seven milestones as anonymous pageviews — first lesson finished, tier finished, paywall reached, and so on — so I can see where people stop. The launch badge in the footer is served by Fazier, which sees your IP the same way any embedded image would. Buying sends a license key to a server and the payment to Stripe. The only way I get your email address is if you type it into the paywall form.
Is it really a game, or a course with points?
A game. Ranks, XP, drills you can fail and retry, and field missions you run in your own AI.
What happens after the free tiers?
Tiers 3 through 5 and the Spec Ops modules unlock with a one-time purchase, which includes future updates. This is a live product in active development. New lessons and fixes ship as Claude's own tools change — you're playing the version that's actually current, and it keeps improving as you go.
